They're so cool. Especially at level 14, when they and their spell books end up sharing a soul. My wizard's spell book was previously owned by a scribes wizard and was donated to the library she worked at after the previous owner died. The book kept following her around, so she kept it. It currently houses the soul of the last owner. When she dies, her soul will enter the book and the previous owner's soul will move to the afterlife. The cycle will continue from there. My wizard is also the only person who can read the book. The pages are blank for everyone else.
