Dinosaur of unknown size added for scale.
Misread the title as “An 11-Year-Old Gilr’s Fossil “Found IN* the Largest Known Ocean Reptile”, and thought we were about to get a major shakeup of the dinosaur timeline, or a time travel mystery.
An 82-foot icthyosaur that they think hadn't even finished growing when it died. Holy shit.
Imagine an animal rivaling the length of a blue whale, but that was (I'm guessing) an actively-hunting apex predator, not a filter-feeder.
