And where does it get it's energy from? Splitting water is not the problem.

Yeah they even address the issue with hydrogen production being dirty without ever specifying how the startup gets its energy.
Liked most of these kinds of plants the goal is to have them powered by renewable sources. Not particularly difficult.
The innovation here as far as I can tell is that the same process that creates hydrogen from seawater can also be used to deposit carbon in the form of carbonates back into the water.
