Does anyone here have tested thermals with the JSAUX backplate V2? Are they better than the previous one?

I just pulled the trigger, will update once I have it installed. Wish me luck on the screen removal procedure.

Good luck, take your time and don’t use a metal spudger if it’s your first time doing it.

I had to replace mine while doing the atomic purple shell swap due to damage and impatience.

Saw a bit on the Discord server, guy tested the backplate and found that it had little appreciable thermal gain, but the vent hole over the fan made it much much louder. "Unusable without a headset," were his exact words, "cannot recommend unless you exclusively play AAA games with headphones on"

I haven't tested them per se since that is not what I bought the back plate for, but there is absolutely a noticable difference in the heat that radiates off the device.

Can you check what temps you're getting while playing/not playing?

Also, is the fan noise noticeable louder?

I'm wondering if the new back buttons reduce the force needed to press. I've always thought the stock versions were uncomfortable to press

They give you 2 types of buttons for the back, I own the previous version of the backplate and it comes with those too. They comfy to press but I don't use them that much.
