I’m legitimately offended that this garbage came from rocksteady.

That's why you never trust a company, no matter how much you like their past products

Agreed. People need to stop treating a companies track record as if it’s a guarantee.

Especially not after seeing so many previously beloved companies go shit/drop a big stinker or two over the years. Like CDPR, Bioware and Arkane.

Companies are ran by people and people can either just make mistakes or otherwise try to chase some extra pennies.

Yeah, man. It is so infuriating. We deserve better than this piece of shit.

I've played every single Arkham game as they came out. I was so pissed when I found out this game was riddled with microtransactions, but because Kevin Conroy I got it anyways, and I didn't hate it fully at first, but all you do is grind. I tried so hard to defend this game not just to myself but my friends, and I can't do it anymore. This game sucks, I mean all the Brainiac fights are rinse and repeats of the justice league fights. I don't know why I expected them to include more story as the seasons released, not the half assed barely animated artwork cutscenes instead of fully rendered cutscenes. Corporate greed ruins yet another thing I love.

I admire the late Conroy as much as the next guy but my brother in christ this mindset is exactly what fuels this level of quality by directly justifying it via your purchase.

You can't solely blame these corporation if you continue to behave in ways that to support and incentivises them to utilise these strategies.

I don't even feel bad for the people who paid money for this. They had it coming from day one.

I played and completed both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City again since SS came out. Both games hold up so remarkably well, considering both are more than a decade old. The impeccable atmosphere of Arkham Asylum and the story of Arkham City are still perfect, IMO. It is so heartbreaking to see this once great studio fall so far due to greed.

Watching all the bullshit around Suicide Squad made go back and play through all the Arkham games (even Origins) because they're fantastic. The main trilogy is an absolutely perfect trilogy with an awesome story. Hell even Origins feels like it's straight out of a graphic novel.

Who is playing this game? Do you like it?

This doesn't seem like my jam on paper, and the reports make it seem even worse.
