Nothing about that "armor" says anything other than "I have armies who fight my battles". That jangly excuse for chainmail wouldn't stop a stiff breeze, let alone a weapon. 🤣🖕🏽
You are right, this is purely for sultan and ceremonial. But Turks also never known to be wearing heavy armors.
