CEO Mike Lindell says annual sales fell $100 million after several big-box retailers cut ties following his election claims.

"It was a massive, massive cancellation," Lindell said in a phone interview Monday. "We lost $100 million from attacks by the box stores, the shopping networks, the shopping channels, all of them did cancel culture on us."

Funny how when people show them the door for being lying antidemocratic assholes, that's "cancel culture." Meanwhile the right seems quite happy to exclude people from public life, refuse services to groups they don't like, make it easy for bosses to fire employees for unionizing or speaking out, and right wing media is quite fond of cutting mics or banning people when they disagree. They are quire happy to perform their own boycotts because they hate trans people and companies that don't. For some reason they don't call any of that 'cancel culture.'

Mike, people just don't want to support you and don't want you around because you're a dangerous, disingenuous, fascism advocate. Our nation would have been better off if he had remained a crackhead and never participated in promoting and amplifying Trump's lies.

And no Democratic/left politician had to write any laws to disrupt the lying bastard. It's the capitalism they love so much.

Typical "conservative" crybabies. Love to block people from doing legal things while simultaneously crying if people exercise their free speech and don't give them money.

Speaking as one of the conservatives I love this lol. Fuck this guy and fuck his company. This isn't being "cancelled" this is just capitalism and I'm here for it.

The phrase "did cancel culture on us" is hilarious to me.

Yeah, it reads like something a 12-year old would say lol

Literally how the free market is supposed to work according to small government advocates. TFW no one wants to do business with you due to making your brand toxic.

The schadenfreude from election deniers suffering the consequences of their own actions sustains me. 😌

Agreed. It feels a lot like watching Indiana Jones beat up Nazis, except Trump supporters' wounds are self-inflicted. I'm glad there are consequences for this, for a while there it seemed like we were rewarding the worst actors. Sadly, lying, narcissistic, boorish louts remain popular on the right.

In Raiders of the Lost Ark the Nazis got themselves too.

Now I'm picturing Mike Liddell's face melting. Nice. XD

People don't want to buy pillows from crazy people spreading lies. Call it cancel culture if you want.

Reminder that Steven Bannon frankly confessed Trump's Start the Steal conspiracy plans to a group of Trump insiders before the election.

https://www.npr.org/2022/07/22/1112138665/jan-6-committee-hearing-transcript

…audio from Trump advisor, Steve Bannon, surfaced from October 31st, 2020, just a few days before the Presidential election.

Let’s listen. [Begin Videotape]

STEVE BANNON: And what Trump’s going to do is declare victory, right? He’s going to declare victory, but that doesn’t mean he’s a winner. He’s just gonna say he’s a winner. The Democrats — more of our people vote early that count. Theirs vote in mail. And so they’re going to have a natural disadvantage and Trump’s going to take advantage — that’s our strategy.

He’s gonna declare himself a winner. So when you wake up Wednesday morning, it’s going to be a firestorm. Also — also if Trump is — if Trump is losing by 10 or 11:00 at night, it’s going to be even crazier. Because he’s gonna sit right there and say they stole it. If Biden’s wining, Trump is going to do some crazy shit.

Bernie Sanders has predicted the same thing months before the election. Of course, conspiracy theorists have taken this as evidence of a plot to steal the election.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

With Steve Bannon's confession, Treason Trump's plot to steal the election is not a theory it is a plain and simple fact.
