People need to learn how to argue with these factless people:

There were 30,000 deaths. The right wing is lying to cover up their crimes.

They offer no evidence or justification for their claims, so if they accuse you of lying just ignore them and keep saying the truth.

Trying to explain how there were 22,000 tracked deaths 5 years before the end of the regime so of course there were at least 30,000 but not all were documented is beyond the mental energy of a lot of people.

The regime killed 30,000. If you deny it you ask for it again.

So I've been following events in Argentina since we haven't seen a true An-Cap since the 40s. I've been trying to follow events since the election and there's definitely been alot of boat rocking for better or worse. You seem like you have strong opinions hopefully based on sound evidence. So, if you could, could you talk a bit about your perspective and how policy has changed and affected the country? Or otherwise refer me to a reliable source. What is Milei's deal? What supposed benefits are there and are any genuine? Has the country fallen into dictatorship? Is he genuinely the popular candidate? Other than An-Cap policies what other "far right" things is he accused of? Anything especially heinous or redeeming from our liberal democratic perspectives? What kind of power does he have over the state given whatever their constitution is like? Or is it followed at all?

I suppose it's a bit callous of me to just want to know as a point of interest and nothing more but I find it so damn fascinating. How often do we really get something different in this world?

You seem to have misread their comment. They're talking about the deaths that happened under their fascist government, not the current ~~ancap~~ socially embarrassed corporate statist.

You're sealioning for things they didnt claim.

I just asked someone with knowledge if I could have some. Is the comment not in direct regard to the headline, historical revisionism by the current government? The term "right wing" would seem directly in regards to current events. I just assumed they might be politically up to date given their opinions on the headline. It seems extremely difficult to get straight answers on the questions I asked given how politically charged they are.

Please explain.

Well, you see, rather than directly engaging the things they actually said you, instead, chose to ask them about things they didn't say and wanting proof of things they never claimed, essentially giving them unrelated homework for a comment you seemed unduly suspicious of. They talked about very specific instances of lies.

Fascists are also right wing and the lies they're talking about, per their comment, are the deaths that happened under fascism.

They may not know about all those things you asked but still have knowledge about the things they said.

Hope that helps.

How odd. A country elects a fascist who then behaves like a fascist.

The right is a cancer in all nations.
