Been on holiday for 2 weeks in UK/Europe, and I miss Sydney coffee…

What's coffee like over there that it makes you miss Sydney coffee?
To me it mostly tastes just bitter and a bit watery. I mostly order cappuccino or flat white. I’m not saying I know much about coffee at all but it just doesn’t taste as good.
Across the board or particular countries like the UK?
I’ve been to France, Netherlands, and currently in UK. Across the board so far.
Stop going to Starbucks everywhere!

lol the one Starbucks I went to in Paris was one of the better coffees I’ve had unfortunately.
If anyone has any recommendations for good coffee in London/Munich, please send me some!

Ugh! What a disaster!

Not being invaded by aliens is such a bummer. Cmon aliens, where are you already.
TBF, we are a pretty shitty species,.and we might wipe ourselves out. So they can probably just sit back and wait a while....
Maybe the cool, peaceful hippie aliens could come down and talk some sense into everyone. Yeah, nah, that wouldn't work, we'd start a war with them too as soon as they started talking about anything that might decrease someone's money or power.
We've been around a pretty long time. I reckon we were mostly respectful, peaceful and harmless for most of that time. Maybe the best of us are already traversing the galaxies with the hippie aliens.
My old man says that the something something said that we're in for six months of rain. Who likes everything being wet all the time?
