The problem is that if people give up on the system already, the likelihood of it disappearing greatly increases, since there won't be as much opposition when they will try to lower, phase out or even outright abolish pensions. The best thing to do is agitate for a dignified pension scheme.
That's true, but I'm trying to follow the advice of my mom. Never trust in one system, but differentiate. We hope we will get our retirement from the government, but at the same time we are trying to put some money in a pension funds and save up to buy a studio as an investment. You never know.
Almost 40. I have the same feeling. Will never get any pension. Ever.
Er zijn een paar maatregelen die voor de hand liggen:
- Activering van de inactieve bevolking
- Vermogensbelasting
- Meerwaardebelasting
- Besparen op het overheidsbeslag
Maar gezien er altijd wel een partij bezwaren heeft, komt hier niets van en wordt het probleem alleen maar groter...
Looks to me like this will only take a little pressure of the problem; not a major revamp
80 procent van die besparing is trouwens afkomstig van de plafonnering van de perequatie en wordt dus gehaald bij de ambtenaren.
I hope this will shut up my boomer dad. I'm so sick and tired of hearing about ambtenarenpensioenen.
