The problem is that if people give up on the system already, the likelihood of it disappearing greatly increases, since there won't be as much opposition when they will try to lower, phase out or even outright abolish pensions. The best thing to do is agitate for a dignified pension scheme.
That's true, but I'm trying to follow the advice of my mom. Never trust in one system, but differentiate. We hope we will get our retirement from the government, but at the same time we are trying to put some money in a pension funds and save up to buy a studio as an investment. You never know.
