Welcome to TheSimpsons, a community for discussing everything related to America's non-prehistoric cartoon family, The Simpsons!

Right about now, you're probably saying, "Troy, basically every post starts with 'Guess the Episode', is that all this community is?"

To which I say you've got some attitude, mister.

But no, any Simpsons content is allowed in this community, although we do ask that you keep the shitposting over in [email protected].

Guess the Episode "Rules"

These "Rules" aren't real, so if you think of something clever, do that instead.

Yes, it was. By pointing out how stupid this notion is, The Simpsons maybe played a role in making pink more acceptable.

Yes, wearing pink at all was seen as feminine or "gay" at the time. Despite progress being slower than I'd like things have changed a lot.

I can't speak for adults at the time, but as a child, I wouldn't have been caught dead wearing pink, because it was a "girl color". I don't know if kids these days still have similar hangups, but kids' things were hyper-gendered back then, and anything pink was obviously for girls.

You used to be with it. Then they changed what "it" was. Now what you're with isn't it anymore and what's it seems weird and scary.

And it'll happen to you!

Yeah it was all about those blue or white work shirts with the Dickies slacks. That was a working man's uniform back then.
