Hey Rat Punchers,

You may remember that when v2.3.0 released I gave a rough ETA of 'early to mid March' when it came to hearing back from me on v2.4.0. Well, early March is here, so where are we at?

Unfortunately, I've got some bad news when it comes to progress on Shattered: v2.4.0 has been substantially delayed. For pretty much the whole month of February I've been dealing with helping my family with a surgery recovery and recovering from getting sick myself.

Health comes first. Get everyone back on their feet, the game can wait.

I hope your dad recovers soon, and you get well soon.

In unrelated news, I just finished beating the game with a rogue, which means I've beat it with each main character now! Now I'm going to try to beat it with each subclass.

Why the removal of catalyst? I thought it was great.

Mainly it's meant to cut extra steps and complexity out of the system in favor of people largely being able to make what they want with just a base item and energy. The random effect from catalysts themselves will live on in a new item though.

Yeah I know. What I mean is why changing the recepie to just require more alchemy energy.
