Oh DT peeps, I finally did it. I bought a new curved monitor from Officeworks. This one of anyone is curious https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/samsung-23-5-fhd-curved-monitor-lc24f390fhexxy-salc24f390. And damn man, although it was only $147 that's a lot of coin for me. The buyer's remorse sets in hard when I can't actually touch or see or use something I spent large amounts of money on

Is a curved monitor going to be as revolutionary as everyone keeps telling me it will be? I was gonna pay the extra $30 and get the 27", but I'd have had to catch a train to Wangaratta and hen cart it back, not ideal

I like my curved monitor. I wouldn't describe it as revolutionary because it is curved, but it does keep all the bits of a large screen at a better viewing distance. Having enough screen space to work on multiple documents at once is definitely a great thing though and well worthwhile.

Think I'm finally getting the hang of keeping the fire going so I don't have to sit over it and feed it. Mind you I have had to dash over and madly stoke it with paper a couple of times.

I have officially liked enough songs on Spotify for my liked songs list to be filterable to "classy" music

Does that mean I can have a "dinner party", and bring out the "fine china", and lay down the "table cloth" and say "ah-pree-see-ate" and go to "ballrooms"?

I’m sure this is purely anecdotal, but has anyone else observed higher rates of cars backing into parking spots? I feel like it didn’t used to be a thing, and now I see it like twice a day.

In other news, checked the rest of the saved posts and none of them were from the DT. So I screenshotted everything I need to last night. \0/

Please don't put me back on cleanup duty, boss...

Work has ceased for the day. I'm all congested, struggling to breathe, and whistling through the nose and I do not like this one bit.
