What to do when your work/school requires a doctor's note but you're not even well enough to go to the doctor to get a note?? (self.NoStupidQuestions)

Fucked up my knee really bad yesterday, while doing a required task at school. Have been bedridden since noon yesterday, was planning on getting a doctor's note today because both my work and my school are extremely physically demanding and if my knee doesn't work, I am down for the count. But I can't even fucking walk now and I don't have anyone to take me to the doctor. What do I do?

Call your doctor to see whether they can accommodate you with a note without a physical visit.

To add, if you can't find a doctor who will do this for you, maybe try to find one that does home visits

Thank you. You gave me the boost I needed and what you said reminded me that my doctor does have an online messaging system so I did that and they called me back and She told me to go to the ER because it's an immediate need so I went there and they met me at my car with a wheelchair and took me in and I went through their whole rigmarole including x-ray & They gave me a brand new knee brace and a doctor's note and now my work and my school are happy with the doctor's note and I can rest now.
