Flipper Zero is a portable multi-tool for pentesters and geeks in a toy-like body. It loves to hack digital stuff around such as radio protocols, access control systems, hardware and more. It's fully opensource and customizable so you can extend it in whatever way you like.

Wishful thinking. Maybe the government should address the root of the issue which is insecure/broken protocols used by car manufacturers

That would mean they actually have to hold several corporations responsible and potentially penalise them. That's just simply not going to happen.

Easier to point their fingers at something almost entirely unrelated and blame that instead.

This tells ethical hackers they shouldn't bother to fix those protocols, and tells unethical hackers exactly what tools they need to exploit them.

Import restrictions like this won't stop ethical hackers or regular hackers. There will be or smuggle the damn things in via the massive land border of the US.

Well and this is just a Name Brand™ of a tool anyway. I'm sure most folks in the cyber security industry have SBC solutions that are 1000x cooler anyway.
