I don’t think there will ever be a singularity. Because, before it gets to that point, the AI will tell us we’re doing society all wrong, we need to scrap capitalism and do a planned economy for degrowth to sustain the planet. Then those in power will quietly announce that it’s impossible and we should all just watch this cat video.
