Difficult but full of charming details and great voice acting. At least Discworld 1 and 2. The third one suffered a bit from "early 3Dlitis".
I really enjoyed them back then. So much, that the games made me read some of Pratchett's books.

That throwaway gag about the boy with the lisp wishing to become a "handsome plinth" pops into my head with regularity to this day.
I've never played them but now I am intrigued.
Discworld on PS1 brought me into the entire book series.
The game follows other point-and-clicks of that era. Which means pixel hunting, abstract puzzles, and lots of trial and error. As another commentor said, lots of great dialog and voice acting. And really really funny.
I used to love those games as a kid, but now as an adult, I don't play them without a walkthrough ready.
That doesn't work
Man I loved Discworld as a kid. I remember my dad bringing it home on a burned CD from one of his cooler friends at work.
Also, it's bloody absurd that Chazza gets as much of a say in what happens to the IP as the guy that created it. If we needed any clearer indication that IP law is not about protecting or incentivising creators, this is it.
