Good news everyone! Side note I was in Paris a few weeks ago, it's almost a shock how much smaller the cars are in Europe compared to the USA. I saw a total of 1 pickup truck and almost no SUVs.

I think it has something to do with those legendary roads that lead back to ~~home~~ Rome.

Most sold cars in France are SUV and have been for a few years but they are European style SUV. Paris is full of them. For many of us, the very popular Nissan Quashcai or Peugeot 5008 are huge, oversized and not space-efficient cars but once I had an American tell me our style of SUVs were too small to fit her and her only child. So she drove some American SUV monstruosity. They may not be as big as American one, but we still got plenty of SUV.

Did you go on USA or Canada recently? All cars are fucking huge compare to french ones....

my comment wasn't about the size comparison. It was about seeing no SUV. SUVs are sadly everywhere in France too.

trucks are rare, yes.

Parisians didn't vote for a problem that doesn't exist. If he saw 0 SUVs then he wasn't looking.

My eyes work. There were no SUVs in Paris.

Good for them. The ancient narrow streets are not great for big cars.
