A community dedicated to the universe of Warhammer 40k, a tabletop setting in the far, distant future.

This is a general community for 40k miniatures, art, lore discussion, and gameplay discussion.

Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No political or social cause agenda pushing.

Activate the Forges!

I've been a little quiet lately, but that's because I've been getting this monstrosity prepared for printing. The voices of the Warp have spoken and they demand a vessel. Not just any vessel but a 40k scale Warmaster Iconoclast Titan. Yes, I have gone quite insane.

Does something this large even count as a "miniature" anymore?

@thatdamnelf @warhammer40k it’s not full scale so yeah, it counts as a miniature.

By the emperor, they’ve purchased a kit straight from a forgeworld

Neat. I think [email protected] might be interested in your printing as you go along.

I'll give it a look! I plan to post another update in a few days, it takes a while to print each part, and I'm playing it by ear as I go, so there's misprints here and there.

Are you doing anything with the misprints? They could make excellent terrain. Or cobble together some kind of Ork gargant with them and traditional methods.

I haven't decided that yet. Each plate takes about a day to print and the legs alone are 7 plates. So far the only misprint has been a giant spaghetti disaster.
