The Night Feeling is the thoughtful nostalgic emotion you feel when you drive alone at night, or see a city skyline at dusk with the wind in your face.

It’s a community for the feeling you get when you’re feeling lonely but at peace, thoughtful but melancholy, and homesick for something you can’t quite remember

Indeed, long walk on a cool lovely night.

Oh I thought this was the bridge over 99 by the zoo. Good eye

I'd love to walk across this

Is there water underneath?

Just a road

There's a tremendous lake just a few hundred meters past this, but as mentioned by another, just a road beneath this bridge.

I was confused by what you meant so I went to your previous post and now I get it. The photos make me think of home without the homeless people and passed out druggies and tents. Or at least not in the photo.

Jesus I'm real tired of people joking about my city when they clearly don't go there regularly.

Hahaha poor people right?!

Don't worry, it's my first time here and I love it. I think most people would, even with the gentle rain.

Every city has people who are down on their luck, or no longer care to participate in society. I grew up in NYC, I'm friendly with these folks so long as they're respectful. A cup of coffee on a cold day is always appreciated.

It's a government problem as far as I see it. I don't have any issue with the people themselves, but recently there have been a lot more stabbings and other assaults from people not mentally fit to even take responsibility for their own actions. And piss and shit everywhere. Hopefully my previous comment didn't come off as abrasive though. It was mean literally like it kinda reminded me of home in the days when we weren't all dying from the actions of our billionaire overlord's yet simping for them at the same time.

Ok, I gotcha. It's a funny thing, the mental healthcare system was gutted by Reagan with the help of movies like "one flew over the cuckoo's nest".. but now we collectively suffer, some with no sane exit on their pain.

Meanwhile, I found Bezos' free banana stand in front of Amazon HQ, the artificial attempt to connect with the community is... It's difficult to admit that it's good, especially considering how much injustice Amazon directly and indirectly perpetuates. At least it's free healthy food 🤷

It's difficult to stay positive based on our previous trajectory as a country. But I've observed that younger folks are starting to gain real power, and things seem to be changing.
