Are we calling the homeless nomads now? I'm ok with that.
Sounds like he owned land, so was he homeless? [edit: and it had a cabin on it, so he was not.]
You don't have to guess. The article describes him as sleeping on friends couches for years. That's what they're calling a nomadic lifestyle. He didn't buy the property until recently.
Dude has been homeless, sleeping on peoples couches and in temporary housing he referred to as "hidey-holes."
Happens to find a niche market sculpting metallic art pieces from scrap metal, makes around $5-10k off the venture, so decides to buy land that's listed as $3k. Spends ALL of his money on the land, and building himself a small cabin on the property. Then comes to the conclusion that the land should be returned to the tribe of people who lived there at one time, so donates it back to them. Receives gratitude in form of applause, a fur, and a ceremonial blanket.
I mean. Maybe offer to let him build another cabin for himself on some of their land?
What sort of nomad owns land?
