Hello. Can anyone recommend a smart button that I could use as a connected doorbell? We already have camera coverage on the front porch so no need for video doorbell. Would prefer zwave but am open to zigbee as well. Our front porch is covered but am concerned about using an indoor button outside, mostly because of temps, esp in winter.

Make people strike two loose wires together to close the contact instead of a button :D

I'm using a SmartThings IM6001-BTP01 (zigbee) to do this. Works well. Has been in operation for about 12 months.

Since this is pretty straight forward, I think most any “single click” Zwave switch would work? I love IKEAs stuff but I think it’s mostly Zigbee.

I'm using a zigbee button and it works great, no issues with the device over the winter, though I probably change the battery more than if it was indoors. I would link to the one I'm using, but apparently it is no longer for sale.
