I was disgusted by the debates last election. Not just the lack of etiquette, or lack of rules enforcement, but by the overall approach. They have a snazzy intro, commentators, and a whole set-up to make the event look like an NFL game. Come on, Americans. You can pay attention and take at least the presidential election seriously without the need for flashy SFX and constant cut scenes. Can't you?
