I get it with James but I never understand why people keep saying Jessie was lesbian tropey. Is there something I missed as a kid about her character?
I think bc of the genderqueer aspect. She often Disguised as a man and nailed it.
Yeah I never really got that either. If anything, she’s James’ beard. So some queer people would argue that she’s queer by proxy, simply because she’s in a queer relationship. But that’s… Iffy at best.
