Ah yes hemp, the notoriously addictive cannabis plant with checks notes substantially less psychoactive cannabinoids than recreational weed.

I think he's referring to the stuff we sell in illegal states, which is essentially sprayed hemp flower

Just to split trichomes a little bit there's 3 kinds of popular hemp flower: CBD focused hemp, THCA focused hemp, and CBD hemp sprayed with alt cannabinoids like ∆8. CBD hemp is pretty much non-intoxicating, THCA hemp is intoxicating and natural. IIRC most of popular alt cannabinoids are naturally occurring in hemp but generally not in the same quantities. I'm just pointing that out so that they're not confused with synthetic cannabinoids.

I've smoked that stuff too. It's still less active than recreational weed

Depends on what it's sprayed with. A few new thc variations have entered the market in the past few years, and some are more potent than D9.

Actually, I was disappointed when the DEA said that they would crack down on THC-O, it was exactly what I was hoping for from derivatives

I wouldn't hold my breath on them cracking down. The HHS basically told them they have to remove marijuana from being a schedule 1 drug.

Finally, Nixon's plan to put blacks and hippies in jail is falling apart.

They did that in Oregon for "safety reasons." Those "safety reasons" don't include making it to ship out of state though. I suspect that intoxicating hemp was starting to drive down tax revenue and it had to be dealt with.
