Several countries‘ juries made a deal with each other to exchange all the high points so that they all get a good placement. But this has been discovered so the jury points have been annulled.
I agree that the way they handle this wasn’t great, but it’s good that they are making sure the jury votes are real and not the result of corruption or weird deals (as some people sometimes claim).
Its great that they caught it, but the just covered it up during the live broadcast and it only got attention the following day. If I remember correctly, they had "connection issues" when the representatives from those countries were to cast their points
Yep. That’s what I meant with "the way they handled it wasn’t great". I kind of can understand their motivation that it’s the easiest not to tell the countries they found out about it and just not letting them talk at all… but it’s unprofessional and not honest / open :/
