Saw a bunch of these crop up in our front yard and they look so delicate! I guess they came with the house and I hadn't noticed them before.

I don't for a fact. Relying on probability and context clues. Someone posting the question in English and using the word yard instead of garden to describe a lawn of grass isn't from this range: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ornithogalum_umbellatum

I remember Reddit polls that came out to about 50% US 50% all over the world (mostly ESL)

Personally I'd totally say front yard since I've learned most of my english from the internet
