Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I’ve heard the new OS with the Mesa driver updates will bring significant performance increases but haven’t heard anything recently.

Anyone know of any news?

It’s available to test out currently, but based on what I’ve read it’s still pretty buggy at the moment.

It will probably be at least a couple more months before it’s ready if I had to guess. They’re making pretty constant and regular improvements outside of that though.

To test it, just set your update channel to main.

You need to turn on developer settings before main appears in update channels FYI
