Well, by sitting an order out you don't contribute to its progress at all, which has some difficult to quantify effect on the success or failure of the mission, which has a direct effect on what types of planets are available to play on during the next cycle.
Doesn't really matter on a single person scale, but if the community as a whole hates an order or something and a large amount sit out it would definitely effect what comes next.
Yes, of course, though I was referring to the comic beatdown above. The easy Order was suuuper easy, and the follow-up is nearly impossible. So, effectively, we've gotten the 45pts we're gonna get for the time span of both, does that make sense?
That does make sense, it sounded like you were speaking broadly about all orders, not this specific situation
I think the reward is basically the same as if it were just one order in the same time scale as the other orders. The last one was supposed to take 6 days. So it would've been a 45 medal reward after 6 days. But instead we completed it in less than a day, so they added a 6 day order. If we fail, it'll be a 45 medal reward over 7 days, which isn't that bad.
It's not like they made us wait the full time for the last major order.
This 'diver gets it. Double rations for this one, boys! He's leading the next drop to glory!!
