I dunno how other people feel, but I never really shipped O'Neill and Carter. I really wanted to see Sam have a healthy love life outside of work.
Im kind of on that boat. I feel that sometimes throwing ships into a story can take away from everything. I liked the fact that relationships in SG 1 and Atlantis were more junk to fill time, or previous marriages that had been split for one reason or another. And as much as I liked Pete, there wasn't much he could have been used for that Agent Bartlet could fill in for. Rant over.
