Alundra. It's basically the PS1's own Zelda title, with a bit of Terranigma DNA mixed in. I played it as a kid and remember being blown away by the plot, and unlike a lot of other games I played back then, this one mostly held up when I replayed it as an adult.
Alundra kicked ass, but I've still never beaten it... Its one of those games I start, put down, then have to start again. Any game starting with an anime opening is almost guaranteed gold.
Don't know if you're aware, but it just got a randomizer last year!
Holy shit, I had no idea there was an Alundra rando now! That's fantastic news. I'll hafta do a few runs. It'll be nice to have a new way to experience the game after so long. Thanks!
You just introduced me to a completely new concept to me and like magic, made my one of my all time favorite games (and a bunch of others) unbelievably more replayable. I was fine with only playing it once or twice a decade, but I guess I gotta play it more now.
If you've never checked out the big list of randomizers, prepare to have your kind blown!
Breathes a lot of new life into the classics!
Yeah I stumbled upon that after plunging into this newfound rabbit hole. How did I not know about this, I play like 99% old games. Thanks for the link anyway. This is so amazing.
