It depends on where you're on the timeline.

The next total eclipse visible from the US (after April 8, 2024) will be in 2033 but not in the contiguous US, only in NW Alaska.

The 2044 total eclipse in the US will only be in parts of Montana, North Dakota, and a tiny corner of South Dakota.

The next total eclipse after that is in 2045 and will be from Northern California to Florida.
