The prohibition was one of many side issues included in the mammoth $1.2 trillion package to fund the government through September.

Who gets to decide what flags they fly? If we allow some, we have to allow all. While it'd be cool to see The Satanic Temple fly a flag, you know someone will try to put up a Kekistan flag, or some MAGA thing. Or the Confederate flag.

I do agree we should put our values up to show what we stand for, but that's what we should make the US flag stand for as our actions as a nation.
