This is essentially the same sign my tiny ass rural airport has just before TSA. They also make continuous announcements on the PA.
I just wonder how many incidents it took to get to that point.
Tbh, I know I went through this airport with a credit card blade, a 6" blade in my carryon and another wrapped up in a package I didn't know about. My mom laughed and then got busted for knives in her carryon as well. None of this was on purpose, we just forgot we had knives stored everywhere.
I could see other Alaskans showing up with a taser and being like "bro that's obviously for bears" because yeah that's probably the case
Tasers? For bears?
I've got Glock Spray for bears, and I worry that a 10 millimeter wouldn't stop one. I don't think I'd feel comfortable with just a taser.
Also live in Alaska. And I'm pretty sure if I ever get pulled over and the officer asks "do you have any weapons in the car" I will probably say "No... wait, yes." Because I keep forgetting my gun is in the car (in the trunk in a locked gun case).
