Note - for those of you that were using Two Factor Authentication, due to the way lemmy 0.19.x implements 2fa, you will need to re-enable it manually from your settings once you have logged in.

Edit - As a bonus, we have two new interfaces for folk to try

Nice! I've been wanting to add pronouns to mine but couldn't without removing the trans flag. Glad it's fixed

wait u could have a trans flag before the update? cuz for me it said the username was invalid

On a much earlier version of Lemmy you could. At some point they pushed a change to disallow invisible characters, and that's what broke it. So I had set my name with a trans flag prior to that update
