MODERATORS

Based on the 222 user scores recorded to date, Skull and Bones' user score is sitting at just 2.8 out of 10, making it the lowest-rated game of 2024 released thus far when ranked by user score alone.

Shocked!! It was such a well managed game!/s

I don't know all these 1's and 0's are as believable as all the 10's or 9's and therefor the whole user score is pretty much useless 😅

I think Opencritic gives quiet a good overview where the game is standing at the moment with it's 6 out of 10 and most of the reviews scored it somewhere between a 6 and a 7 which is fair for the game I would say.

Good thing is there is a Trial you can try out and see if the games click with you and if the missing gameplay on foot is really bothering you that much. Also you already can find the game pretty much for half the price at least on pc, which I would argue is a much more reasonable price point for this game and Ubisoft should never have marketed it for 70€ which is way to high for this kind of game.

My favourite opencritic feature is showing a games review score as a percentile:

https://opencritic.com/game/16299/skull-and-bones/charts

This one currently places in the 23rd percentile

Reviews should just throw out all 10/10 and 0/10 ratings when calculating an overall score. No game is perfect and no game is absolutely worthless.
