Are we supposed to feel extra sad because his ~~daddy~~ mommy is rich?
No you're supposed to feel sad because a young person died. You're also supposed to be bright enough to realize that deaths due to the toxic drug crisis affect everyone regardless of socioeconomic background.
What does that have to do with his dad being a former CEO of YouTube? If that detail is not important, why did they include it?
It's a form of sensationalism.
His mother was the CEO. If you had taken the time to read the article you would know that.
I don't think it sensationalism as much as it's pointing out that even kids from rich families die from the toxic drug crisis. Most people's expectations are that only poor people die from drug poisoning.
Further, we will need people from all strata of society to come together to change the drug laws and protect lives in future.
You can look at it however you want though.
Yes, it could just be “dead kid” I’d say it’s less sympathetic to include details about someone else in the title
Exactly, apparently he only mattered because of who his ~~dad~~ mom is.
Mom, not dad.
His mother was the CEO.
Dude you sound chronically online wtf. The death of a son because of drugs is never easy. Idgaf if you feel heartless for the rich, but the issue isn't that.
You unsympathetic, lizard brain, piece of shit.
