Do they actually work well for that? I work in an environment that periodically requires hearing protection, and I’ve seen some coworkers use airpods for it. I’ve been wondering if that was adequate or if people were just setting themselves up for hearing loss
Oh, it's a secondary layer over peltor muffs. I would definitely not use airpods as the sole hearing protection.
But it really does work and cuts down engine noise significantly compared to just the peltor. It's hard to tell if my engine is idling with this setup haha.
