Only using machines rn, <Hey - a lot of lifters would love to be in your position (you already have additional mass to convert to muscle!)> Idk about that, how can you convert fat to muscle?
Machines are good too - you can really push yourself to maximum exertion (to where you are jello on the last rep of each set).
This 5-minute video shows the power of lifting intensity.
A lot of people who lift are just "going through the motions", instead of "pushing your body to the new limit".
