He said they clearly weren't ready to handle the situation “if they felt intimidated by somebody, like myself, just simply showing them something that is protected by our Constitution.”

What an insensitive prick. The students went to the statehouse because they have perfectly reasonable fears, and are concerned for their lives. This piece of dogshit responds by traumatizing them.

These kids just got a lesson in how much their elected officials, Republicans in particular, care about them.

Yeah these politicians tend to forget that kids grow up to become voters. Seeds planted early usually have the strongest tendencies to sway a voter.

Isn't it not legal to carry in government buildings? Or am I misreading all those signs with a picture of a gun and the red x over it?
