Funny, inEU we are around 10/11 € per ticket
£6.99 here in London. That's it. No "convenience fee" either.
And £5.99 outside of London (if bought online and in "Super Saver" seats). Gawd Bless Vue.
What are the super saver seats?
They're the first 4/5 rows, the back row, and sometime a weird block off to the side which is above the entrance (I don't know why those exist). But considering the row behind is the VIP seating - the back of the 4/5 group is pretty close to the best row but half the price.
You pay based on the location of the seat in the screen. The cheaper super saver 5.99 seats are more near the front and if you want to further back you would have to pay 7.99
My home town in Essex only had an odeon and it was more like £11 for a standard ticket. Rip off.
Yeah, Odeon is pretty rubbish. At least Cineworld have their unlimited pass (do they still do that?) and Vue have their cheap tickets.. Odeon's are just sticky-floored stuck-in-the-80s, unhappy-staff hell-holes :(
6.50€ in my country... Or maybe because I'm a student and my cinema is on a small town
