The dishes are piling up. My apartment is a mess. I can't stand long enough to make a decent meal. My tasks are falling way behind at work. The physical therapy exercises just stopped helping one day. Ibuprofen makes my stomach cramp, pretty sure I have a hernia, or at least it's warning me it's close. Weed doesn't dull the pain anymore. I miss my good days.

Diet and exercise may go quite a long way to help. Reduce sodium intake, try to abstain from alcohol (I know it's hard for some when in continuous pain), and stretch in the mornings to help your body in displacing inflammatory fluid. DRINK WATER.

Your may want to work with your doc on emergency pain management plans for stretches of time like this as well. Steroids and light pain meds may help to get you moving and it of the despair.
