I often hear, "You should never cheap out on a good office chair, shoes, underpants, backpack etc.." but what are some items that you would feel OK to cheap out on?

This can by anything from items such as: expensive clothing brands to general groceries.

KA is great, but for most baked goods, All Purpose is All Purpose. Fancy flour matters more for lean bread doughs where it’s the only thing bringing flavor.

Nobody should be milling at home unless you’re already buying flour 50lbs at a time. It’s loud, expensive and time consuming.

Still disagree on the flour side. I've tasted the difference even with flavorful breads like banana bread.

A small kitchen aid stand mixer attachment for milling flour is all you need. The wheat berries last forever so buy them in bulk and go crazy when you want flour.
