Thompson added that the new bill also implemented a work requirement that limits eligibility for the free treat to individuals who have worked eight hours or more on their birthday.

lol right? That cracked me up! This is one of my favorite communities on Lemmy so I read a lot of satire and this article is among the best in recent memory.
