Apple Music Classical was updated today with CarPlay support, which will allow users to access the app from their vehicle's infotainment screen when an iPhone is connected. However, the app does not appear to be functional yet when opened.

Looks like it might be a bug. CarPlay was not mentioned in the release notes and it doesn’t actually work when launched in the car.

Correct, it’s mentioned as not working yet in the article,

However, the app does not appear to be functional yet when opened.

I updated and haven’t seen it in CarPlay yet. They might have pulled it in the rolling release.
