Many popular third-party Reddit apps will be shutting down on Friday, including Apollo, RIF, Sync, and Boost, and fans of the apps are sending them off with heartfelt posts and memes.

Been using Boost for reddit, my most used android app. So happy that there will be a version for lemmy. Fuck reddit and long live lemmy.

It makes me hopeful for the future of the platform that Boost will be developed for Lemmy

Exactly. And not just Boost. Look at this list of apps!

So many apps! Hopefully it'll bring more users over to Lemmy. :)
