Nikola reveals 2023 saw a successful launch of its hydrogen trucks in US and Canada
(www.hydrogenfuelnews.com)
A community about hydrogen and its use as a way to fight climate change.
Did the author just add up two numbers that they saw? The second sentence contradicts the first, stating that only 42 vehicles were produced. You can't just add 35 from that number back to the first one.

I think I'm reading this the same way you are. And completely agree that it's weird to add the numbers together. Lol I even went and googled the definition of wholesaled just to make sure there wasn't another meaning.
From my reading of the 2nd sentence, it looks like they only managed to sell 35 of the 42 vehicles produced leaving 7 in inventory.
Edit to add:
~~UNLESS, maybe they had 35 on hand from 2022 that weren't sold until 2023? Maybe some sort of tax advantageous situation where the sale didn't happen until January 1st 2023? But that's a stretch I think~~
I read the article you posted and they explain what the 7 unsold units are doing.
Source for the 35 electric vehicles?
The only recent press release from them mentions 42 hydrogen vehicles, 35 of which were sold wholesale. Are you just pulling that 35 out of your ass as well?
Insults from someone who's functionally illiterate don't hold much water.
I already shared the PR link from them. It mentions 42 vehicles only. Do you understand that?
That's literally what I'm addressing in my original comment. Try reading it again. The article you posted appears to pull 35 vehicles out of thin air. I shared the actual press release from Nikola for comparison.
