Classic.
So, basically this rich fuck wants to roll back:
Seems like a piece of shit, hopefully most don't make it past the legislature. If they do, I hope that Washington continues to be smart enough to see this guy's true intentions.
Ah, there it is. You mean it isn't actually to improve the democratic process like he claims?! I'm shocked.
Uh, someone want to tell him?
Fine, I'll say it: Washington has always been more leftist than CA, and it's not just Seattle. It's pretty much anywhere that has actual population. Tacoma, Everett, Bremerton, Spokane, Bellevue, Bellingham. Even the more rural counties are more left than many of the "left" places in CA.
Hmmm. A lot of Eastern WA counties voted trump by double digits over Biden. I feel very outnumbered over here even in a mid-size city.
Yeah, I suppose then I'm mostly talking about Western WA. Eastern WA aligns closer with Idaho than with most major cities, including Spokane (although Spokane is obviously more red than the major cities in Western WA).
True.
I grew up in WA and am now in CA. Not sure that I can fully agree. With the first and last bits (definitely correct about the population centers but missed Oly). I've found there to be a lot of performative action (as opposed to substantive action) in WA and there are still significant workplace hostility towards LGBTQ+ people in some places.
