Honestly what's stopping me from using lemmy more is still the lack of any good front page sort (self.general)

seems like it's either day+ old posts that are no longer relevant or everything everywhere new, by the second

if there is a good reason for this [and there really might be] please lmk; i assume it's less stupid and addictive to not have hot posts. but it is annoying and basically un browsable

I'm still waiting for the lemmy.world update for updating jerboa.

I was using Jerboa but made the switch to Connect for Lemmy for Android. Honestly loving it so far in comparison. They even have a "front page" type option which you can select as your default on logging in to the app. Between that and switching to "new comments", my feed has been active and related (generally) to my interests
